Tomoyuki Kashihara is a partner of the firm. Mr. Kashihara’s practice focuses on general corporate, litigation and arbitration, competition law, and labor law.
Mr. Kashihara has represented financial institutions, construction companies, and other corporate clients in various industries in a number of lawsuits relating to debt collection, construction disputes, labor disputes, competition law, and other matters.
He regularly advises corporate clients in such areas as M&A and restructuring, competition law, employment relations, and real estate. At the time he worked at the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Mr. Kashihara was in charge of the legislative drafting for the Act on Facilitation of Succession of Management of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (the Law No. 33 of 2008), on which he published a number of articles.
Mr. Kashihara was admitted to the Bar of Japan in 2000. He joined Ishii Law Office in 2000 and became a partner in 2011. He received an LL.B. degree from Chuo University in 1996. He worked at the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry from 2007 to 2009. Mr. Kashihara is a member of the Daini Tokyo Bar Association and the Japan Federation of Bar Associations.
